Sutra Borgeson is a master networker, entrepreneur, certified coach, international travel expert, speaker, and Veteran advocate who specializes in strategies harmonizing balance, building relationships, and cultivating change.
Having served in both the US Navy and the US Army Reserves, she is a disabled Veteran, who believes that working together for the greater good of community and culture, helps to connect people to achieve great things. Sutra’s background is diverse covering topics from health & wellness, environmental science, and travel to human resources, sales, marketing, business management, conflict resolution, negotiations, and strategic planning. She is involved with organizations such as the Oklahoma City Business Leaders for Good, Team RWB (Red, White Blue), Pack for a Purpose, Veteran Future Foundation, OK Veterans for Good, American Society of Travel Advisors, Signature Travel Network, and Business Networking International (BNI) along with supporting other local and international humanitarian projects through Victory Family Church. An Associates of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, Bachelor of Science in Business Leadership along with a multitude of other certifications are at the foundation of Sutra’s education.
She is the Founder of Creative Travel & Events LLC where she acts as an International Travel and Event Specialist helping busy people create special events and travel trips of their dreams. She was deemed the 2020 American Society of Travel Advisors, “Travel Advisor of the Year” and has held the position of #1 Travel Agency of Tucson, Arizona. LuxLife Hospitality Awards has awarded her company with several awards. She was also recognized internationally as “Best Event & Travel Consultant” and “Women Veterans Travel Business of the Year”. Sutra is a part of Hilton’s Event Planners Advisory Panel and the Apple Leisure Group Advisory Panel.
Certified as an Integrative Health Coach from the University of Health & Performance, Sutra founded Journeys Coaching LLC, helping people find harmony in the 8 pillars of life for optimum health and well-being. (The 8 pillars refer to how we think, train, live, fuel, connect, lead, recharge and feel.)
Previously Sutra owned Your BFF Sutra, LLC which focused on connecting businesses with one another while focusing on "Business Fundamentals." (BFF stands for Business Focused Fundamentals.) She facilitated events that brought together community leaders to network and helped grow their business via coaching and mentoring. Her passion for mentoring new aspiring small business owners continues.
Personally, Sutra loves to volunteer her time working in other community efforts surrounding Veteran issues and entrepreneurship. She is passionate about the areas of veteran health, including suicide prevention, local and national policy change, and fostering camaraderie in the Veteran community. She is the proud mother of two successful children. For fun, Sutra loves to compete as a precision shooter, kayak, hike, travel, speak publicly, play golf, and cook.
